Hatton was a coward and if he fought Zab or Junior or Cotto he would have never been in the big fights against PAcman and Floyd.

He was protected for 40 fights then he cashed in full stop.

Hatton was a coward???? fought the best 2 boxers of the last decade and he's a coward??? whereas you hiding behind your keyboard are a right tough man.

Zab would have caused Hatton nightmares but his fragile mind and move up in weight class stopped that from happening, Witters pathetic punch output and lack of inde game would have led to him getting outpointed or stopped late and Cotto was a tad fragile at LWW... Paulie gave him hell for **** sake... Hatton dealt with Paulie with ease when on the slide

Zab has a better wins/resume than that. And he fought majority of the best fighters in this generation. Does that make him great too? Lol dumb *******s. The boy had a career ending knockout. Lmfao What good fighter do you know that gets beat out of his prime in two fights. Lol he was a bum from the get go. Then he got exposed and decided to quit.

Sometimes I can't tell if people are serious. Losing to the two best fighters of a generation makes you a bum I guess.

No. Your only reasoning for hatton being great is that he fought two great fighters and got whopped. So I pointed out someone who has fought, beat and lost to much better fighters then him. And Judah gets clowned on this forum everyday for that very fact. So how does fighting tough opponents make one fighter great, and another a "a glass jawed, glass heart bum" LOL when its hatton who got 1 punch ko'd by Mayweather! Lmfao and pacqiauo. I just hate double standards. Zab was just good. A hatton isn't even on that level. He was a cab driver. There's a reason zab still winning titles and hattons in the wind.

Zab certainly had far more skill and talent than Hatton could hope for.

Hatton had more determination but it wasn't paired with any other significant attribute.

You are a fraud! Hatton was a legit two time LWW Champ and best in the Division and one of the hardest working guys in the ring in modern history. Like Hatton said before, nobody understands inside fighting anymore but still he won almost every round against Urango didn't he and was one of two men along with Vince Phillips to beat Kostya Tzyu. He made Floyd work hard too.

hatton is a former fighter of the year who wanted to truly go for greatness. he fought prime versions of the two best fighters of his era in floyd and manny. he deserves respect for this even though he came up short. he didn't want to be like calzaghe who went to the rest home get wins over former great fighers.

It was frustrating to watch all the training videos on FM Sr working with Hatton, all the talk of improvements (and it really looked like he was picking up on what they worked on) just for the opening bell to ring and forget it all.
