Hmmm.... maybe it was that he wanted him to get a grip of himself then and make a decision.

For the past 12 months he's been at the bottom of a bottle..... not good when you are in the public eye and kids that are old enough to know what is going on.

I'd like him to give it up.... but I'd rather him sort himself and come back than stay as he is now, fat, bloated and pissed all the time.

That's certainly the vibe I get off Ray. Can't really speak from any personal experience but I'd imagine that the vast majority of fathers would be begging their kids to retire if they got sparked like Ricky did off Pacquiao, however Ray was the main catalyst in suggesting that Ricky would be back.
