a couple of us have been on this for quite a while, about 5-6 years infact.
He got his ass handed to him by Mayweather, and apart from an old and semi-retired Tszyu with everything in his favour, what has be beat?

He knew he could fall back on the old 'ah well PBF is the best in the world and bigger than me' bull****. He's bottled out the Witter fight so many times. Ricky is a fraud and a conman.

I think the Calzaghe one was justified up until a couple of years ago.

I'm disappointed in Hatton not taking on Witter. It smacks of cowardice.

Hatton's resume absolutely SHITS on Junior Witter and Joe Calzaghe.

TWO LEGIT ALL-TIME GREATS. ONE LOSS, ONE WIN.

PLENTY OF TOP CONTENDERS, NO COLIN LYNES OR KABERY SALEM.

Hatton's just come back from fighting the best p4p fighter on earth in the USA, and you call him a comfort zone fighter? He left Frank Warren to keep idiots like you happy and make the big fights, and now coz wont fight Junior "even shitter" Witter your calling him. He'd annhilate Witter, thats a tune-up for Ricky. The fights he wants are Cotto, Pacman and Diaz. Witter is like 4th in the list.

    Get a grip.

As I said he should fight Witter, but it is pathetic to say he is a comfort zone fighter when his last bout was against the p4p 1 and all time great PBF. Scurla for one said the fight would "never happen" and repeatedly mocked how Hatton would find a way to duck it.
He takes it, goes to America to fight it and yet he is "comfort zone" just like taking on Tszyu was the easy option when Kostya had just starched Mitchell...

Yeah and look what happened when he cashed his chips him? he got ****ED proper ****ed. Even the turnbuckle had a go at his ugly mug. For the amount of $$ that was made that night Hatton would have fought King Kong. But of course the excuse is a nice one.. "i lost to the pound for pound best"

The reason why the excuse is such a nice one is coz its ****ing true, he did lose to the pound-for-pound best. Considering that Hatton could've made plenty of money and a whole career fighting hand-picked opponents in Manchester with Warren; ie JOE CALZAGHE, britains REAL no.1 comfort figter, I think going fighting Mayweather shows balls.

An undefeated champion just took his first loss by going abroad and fighting the BEST. You call him a coward? No Junior Witter running away from Zab Judah was cowardly, Hatton's performance against Mayweather speaks volumes about his heart and will-to-win.

You lose every time you bring this up, and in a few years when Hatton's starched everyone else at 140lbs and gives Witter his beating you'll be a public joke.

What an insightful and intelligent reply, great work! :patsch
