Both are poor. Watch the fights on tele & take your missus wherever she wants to go.

You've got a featherfisted ***** fighting a hugger vs. two legends.

    Easy.

Plus you don't want to incur the wrath of the misses.

    Go to NY then!

Not sure what the better undercard will be, because neither main event will be up to much - though both will be great for british boxing.

I'm British and I just got back from Cotto/Margarito. I will not be attending either of these 2 fights. I think you have to pick and chose the fights you attend carefully. Both the upcoming fights are poor when you compare them to other fights you might be able to go to. The other fights will probably have cheaper flight costs and cheaper fight tickets. My advise is therefore to be a boxing fan rather than a fanboy willing to be exploited by these fights.

Is Hopkins fighting Jones instead now then?

Hopkins isn't a legend in his own house. Ask Demetrius, he'll tell you after old Popkins kicked his ass out of the flat.

I don't know how anybody finds post-WBU Hatton exciting anyway. He was only exciting when the opposition allowed him to be, now that he's at the top level he has to make up for his flaws with holding and hitting unfairly. Look at his fights since Tszyu and tell me that bull**** was exciting or even intriguing from a purist viewpoint and you see what I mean.

Malignaggi is exciting in a clownish sort of way that you can laugh at on TV, not a travel half way across the world kind of way.

Did you mean "post-WBU"? Anyway I agree to a certain extent but lets not open up that debate again.

Oh sorry, Hatton could only dream of WBO those days.

Why, the guy referred to how exciting the fights might be so this seems a suitable place :thumbsup

Actually if you want to be accurate he was actually WBO number one for a while but never took the fight. I think Pinto held the bauble at that time.

I've 'done' Vegas and NYC for big fights and Vegas is by far the better experience.
