Hatton camp seem to be playing up a Witter Fight now.

This fight needs to happen but I can't see it now to be honest. After Hatton beats Laczano it will be Malignaggi and then he'll be chasing a rematch with Floyd most likely.

 

I agree, unfortunately it's hard to see it happening. Even after a fight with Malignaggi, it looks like there might be a potenital Hatton Vs Pacquiao fight.

 

I really hope these two guys fight. Hatton has the pick and choose of a lot of guys and can line up some very good fights with top contenders but this fight means alot to us British fans. The same fans he seems to want to keep in line with in his man of the people persona.

Yeah it would be a great fight for all us fans but what has Hatton got to gain? He is a somebody and Witter is a nobody!!!!

 

Bit harsh calling Witter a nobody!! He's nowhere near as well known as Hatton but he's a legit world champ. Plus, his next fights on ITV and i'm sure you'll use the airtime on terrestrial telly to call hatton out,again!

 

In which case what does Hatton have to gain from fighting Lazcano and Mallinaggi.

Mallinaggi aint achieved any more than Witter thats for sure.

If Hatton was taking big fights like the Mayweather or someone who is definately way above Witter then we can forgive him saying that Witter hasnt earned it but its the fact hes saying Witter aint earned it and is a nobody and then he goes and fight nobodies himself on PPV.

 

Hatton doesnt want to give Witter the biggest pay day of his career.Witter's last fight was at the Doncaster Leisure Centre and the Hitman was at Vegas. End of.

 

Whens the last time that happened? Fighting for nothing offers and winner takes all fights are bull**** PR stunts for the tabloids.

 

Witter has said he would fight for nothing so stop bitchng about the payday.

Well why dont Ricky call his bluff and agree to fight him on that basis. Publicise it as well and hey presto we will know who is bullshitting.
