Hattons preperation was abysmal from the start.

    1. He needs to find out who leaked the info that Floyd was getting sacked after the fight. How can he expect his trainers undivided attention in the heat of battle when the man know's he's getting sacked in an hour.

    2. Why, when 18 months ago after getting knocked out by Floyd jumping in for a wild left hook has he not learnt his mistake. He hadn't learnt it against Mallignaggi. Paulie was **** and just made hatton look good and 'alas' sure enough he jumps in for a left hook and manny counters.... KD #1. Its not like he was losing, it was round 1. Why not establish a stiff jab and work on figuring out Manny's angles ??

    3. Why didn't he warm up ? It was painstakingly obvious that he hadn't warmed up properly. No sweat on his face, when shadowboxing he looks sluggish and out of rythm, he wasn't making his noices like usuall either ?

    4. Another thing I noticed. Surely for someone like Hatton, who's face has been known to cut up frequently.... Why was his face dry ? He had no oil or vaseline on it ? These are basics for ****s sake.

All in all this was brutal by Manny really, take nothing away from him he was good. Hatton could have lasted longer and should have if well prepared but I really believe he only brought forward the inevitable anyways. He should retire now. One fight in Manchester and call it a day.

Fight the absolute best, one of the best ever, you risk getting your arse totally whipped. That's just the way it works.

Exactly mate. Cannot begrudge him getting beat. I said to evryone and anyone who'd listen that it'd be a 9th or 11th rnd stoppage for Pac.

**** me though i'm still in shock at that !!!!

    :huh:huh

    I'm still in shock dude....

If pac was going to stop him, which I thought he might, no way did I think it would be that early - or by one punch.

As you say though he had Hattons game worked our from the start, beating Hattons hook with a hook, which is something that Floyd did.

Pretty much how I saw it. I thought he'd stop him in about 9, probably on his feet.

I think I said it on here or another forum but I still think he should have retired after the Floyd fight.
He's made even more money now I guess so he wont care.

can you see him retiring on a loss though? all marquee bouts are off, he will never fight in vegas again, but he could still sell out M.E.N arena for e.g

What about the apparent Khan fight that would possibly go ahead if he lost?
