It's pretty obvious where his family's motivation lies. It's to squeeze Ricky of money until the well runs dry.

 

thats ridiculous, the hatton's seem there is alot of love in that home, for christ sakes ricky lives like next door to his parents...and his a multi-millionaire

 

Harsh but true. They could have advised Ricky to quit boxing. He has everything but his family can't be satisfied.

 

That's true. But money to his family is of prime importance. They could have advised him to quit for his sake but they don't. They're greedy. They want more money. Never mind if Ricky gets Parkinson's disease later in life.

I have never seen a fighters Chin just totally deteriorate like Hatton's has. He should not fight again. He can't take a good punch anymore.

 

Ray said the results of the fight would have different had there been order in Ricky's camp. He's trying to rationalize his son's loss and Ricky believed him.
