Absolutely - he's being dangerously overrated on the back of beating pish fighters like Miranda and Green who have been dealt with in much better fashion. The Kessler performance is good, but we now know Mikkel wasn't quite what he was a couple of years before.

Ward's a good solid fighter. He mixes it up, can work inside and out, and has a gameplan for every eventuality. I enjoy watching him, other than the ugly maul against Green. Just not sold on him as some sort of great.

    Bute beats him, IMO.

I sense a early knockdown, i'm amped for this!!!!!! I think if Juanma has early success it could make turn the fight in a war. His finishing skills are pretty darn poor for a power puncher with ability he has. He falls in and i think Rafa could exploit them situations when in heat of battle.

Anybody claiming he's a great is going too far, but Ward is the defintion of a p4p fighter at the moment. He should be right up there in anyones consideration the way he's shutting people out of fights completely and showing adaptability. Okay beating Miranda and Green ain't special, but not dropping a round is impressive. Handing even a faded Kessler his ass is impressive, its what he's showing thats getting people talking.

Maybe there are some concerns about his chin but we've got to find it consistently to know, and his power is obviously not great.

Neither are particularly tight when on the offensive. It's why both are exciting, but knockdowns seem a certainty here.

Yep long while back, he's shown that he falls in when he gets over eager to finish someone. Past fights like Concepcion?
