It´s so childish in the General Boxing Forum that some posters try to make Hatton´s win worse than it was ("Is Castillo shot?", "The fight was fixed, etc.), an excellent win for Ricky, when I saw how PBF struggled with Castillo and what Hatton did with him... I would really like to see PBF vs. Cotto or PBF vs. Hatton, he isn´t unbeatable like many here thinks...
Not to take anything away from Hattons immpresive victory,But did anyone else notice Castillo had no legs from the get go.
I was worried about Castillo's chances after his last fight. I picked him anyway. I thought Castillo did look like he had dropped in his level of ability, but to be honest, I don't know that he would have won if he'd been better. The whole time I was watching the fight, I was telling a friend of mine that he needed to be more effective hitting Hatton's body. Hatton was doing good body work on Castillo, and I fealt that Castillo needed to match it. I don't think that his punches were low, they looked like they were on the belt to me. I just noticed that with Castillo's hook being so wide, he was having trouble getting it in. His hook has always been wide, and I think he would have had trouble landing it on Hatton at any time in his career.
I expected Hatton to win but not nearly as decisively as he did. So I guess it's- Hats off to Hatton.
Hook and Hold Hatton was up to his dirty tricks once again yet referee Joe Cortez appeared to have a blind eye. Never the less Cortez was quick to deduct a low blow point from Castillo without any prior warnings. Not sure if that would have made a difference since Hatton got the finish in the same round anyway. Question, If Cortez had stopped the clinching and holding early in the fight with some warnings and showed zero tolerance would Castillo have had a better shot?
If you don't see the humor in a post being that far wrong, it suggests that Floyd has somehow hurt your feelings.
No I see the humor and I get your post but your still responding to someone who is not going to see you post responding to theirs which defeats the whole purpose of responding to a post in the first place.
