I didn't score it exactly like that, but I scored it a draw too.

Let's not forget this was a title fight, and Hatton's first fight at the weight. No soft warm up fights, straight in against a decent, tough opponent.
He wasn't "out on his feet" at the end, just very tired. I don't think people want to give Hatton any credit in that fight, but then what's new?

We tend to score all the close ones the same.

Whatarock: Do you really feel the 11th could have gone either way with Ricky out on his feet?

When you consider that Ricky had two prior opponents sheduled at JR Welter then had a last minute Switch to Full Welter, which caused a crash weight/strenght adjustment programme, Against the talented and underrated Collazo, a southpaw, and with the backdrop of Legal proceedings with Frank Warren ongoing, its a wonder Ricky pulled out the Win !

This Time the fitness/weight programme will be much more natural

I thought he did his work was so much cleaner and Hatton was pretty ineffective, Im not being biased, if I was I would have given 2 and 11 to Collazo

Why would you say that when Hatton was the one staggering and stunned in many rounds and was clearly grabbing on for dear life in the 12th?

Hatton made it close with his workrate, but he shoulda still lost the fight. The punk cowards behind boxing gave the title to Hatton because of hype. $$$ incentive. Just like DLH-STURM, they didn't want to put a hamper on th e HOPKINS- DLH estravaganza

I had Hatton winning 114-113. That first round quick KD really helped him.
