Ricky was always one of my favorite fighters. I'm not sure he needs to comeback against an A Level guy who has been in the rhythms of training/competing...but hey, whatever works.
Interesting. I look forward to whatever happens next. It would be ****ing great to see him put a beating on Garcia
He has had his blow out, drank like a fish and snorted lines like a pimp. Now he is ready to dedicate himself properely. Hopefully it all doesnt end in tears again:hey
I'm guessing Hatton will want a couple less dangerous opponents before Khan, but I'd guess Khan/Hatton will go off next year. What do you think?
He said he's at 11 stone, which is about 154 pounds. If he plans to fight there, he's 5'7, which is a bit short. Most of the guys in that class have 2-4 inches of height on him. Potential Nov. opponents at 154: Alfredo Angulo - Tough as nails, but fresh out of jail. Has a TBA opponent at Staples Center on 11-10-12. Cornelius Bundrage - Coming off a title defense against Corey Spinks. Possible fights at 147: Jan Zaveck - Low KO ratio, name fighter, not too dangerous for Ricky Kell Brook - Huge fight in UK. Brook is good but I wouldn't count Ricky out. Malignaggi - Paulie has a world title but no big fights lined up. He's looking improved at 147. Not sure Ricky wants this rematch. Not sure Paulie would put his new strap on the line either...but maybe he would be tempted for some redemption? Victor Ortiz - This guy is going downhill fast. Could be a good fight for both guys.
Well, best of luck Ricky, I'll certainly be watching. I hope you increase the value of all the signed pictures and gloves I have
yes happy days, as i've about 30 Hatton signed posters that were ear-marked as BBQ fual. But now i'll have him on my front page banner when my re-vamped site goes live
