no...i dont know ANYONE who LOVES AG...

they might like his attitude...but he doesnt have anywhere NEAR to a credible fanbase...the only thing people remember him for is getting his ass embarassed by Cotto and being on that TV show...



and gomez would get handled by Hatton

 

Gomez would be a good matchup for Hatton if he was moving up. He is actually somewhat popular here because of the 1st contender show, and he is used to fighting bigger fighters and did beat Manfredo and Koed Gatti once upon a time. Hatton did struggle with an older former lightweight in his last fight so I don't see him walking over Gomez.

I'm really actually indifferent to Hatton or Gomez, but I do think Hatton's lifestyle appears to have affected him a great deal in the ring. Plus he has shown to struggle when he moves up to fight bigger fighters. Hatton should def be favored in that fight, but I don't think he walks over anybody at 147. Not the current version of Hatton at least.
