Oscar made 60 mill from that fight as a fighter he made about 40 as a promoter..whoever promotes the fight gets the other chunk of millions.hatton/floyd would do about 700-900k ppv sales. since this can be hyped so much. They have purse bids you know..HBO would offer them a purse and the fighters promoters split the pie..Hbo gets there cut, about half or and everything else is split.. so with about 90 mill floating around. you can see floyd taking about 30(half of that he would have to put up promoting) hatton gets about 8-10. That is the offer.. Hatton and camp have no weight at hbo to make any moves.. The money is in the promoting...and floyd as his own company now..so ELLERBE said that they would make hatton an offer. period. On there terms. period.

How can Hatton offer floyd a ppv hbo fight when he never even fought ppv. and floyd was a part of the biggest money fight in history..2 and 2 dont make 8. Floyd has a promotion company he goes to hbo for the purse bid and he cuts hatton a paycheck..he got the money to do that now...Floyd has been doing solid ppv #s for hbo. His lowest was the gatti fight and that was the most exciting. The judah fight did 350k..the judah/cotto fight did 225k..so that shows who is what..**** the baldomir fight was supposed to flop but did 300k which is solid considering it is baldomir..Besides ODH and Tito Floyd is the only other ppv fighter other than pacman whos best #s was 350k for morales III. And they are throwing millions at pacman like it aint ****..He dont even have to fight with all the bonus money he gets..lol

How old was Tyson in his prime?

How old was Ali when he beat Liston?

How many fights had OSCAR had when he fought for his first title?

floyd is going to make 15 million guaranteed plus 70% of the ppv. you put hatton on ppv with malignaggi and see how well it does:lol: floyd just won an espy was nominated for athlete of the year on BET ad is a househol;d name. people will buy that fight in america to see hatton get destroyed. if they do a 24/7 type show and a press tour then the fight will do 1 million buys easily.

I thought ou said you didn't know anything about boxing econmomics:deal

for guaranteed money I say 15 million for floyd 7 million for hatton. of course the big question is whether floyd will give hatton a percentage of the ppv money seeing as how hatton had never been on ppv. And please don't give me that crap about floyd not selling out arenas. the baldo, zab, and gatti fights were filled to capacity. a floyd vs hatton fight would sell out in a matter of minutes. way too many people have been waiting for this fight, and manby are coming to see floyd not hatton.

Floyd would have to hold in a week's worth of turds and stuff a midget in his shorts to make 155. That skinny mofo is probably about 138 as we speak.

I just thought I'd bump this up since Hatton's haters seem so stuck on the other article that misquoted Ray, they obviously must have missed his quoted response to that EXACT article. :good

No, you don't have to believe jack **** if you don't feel like it. You don't even have to believe that milk comes from titties if it strikes your fancy.

I do think the initial article was a misquote, so yes- it is extremely convenient (and free!), especially when I don't believe the first part of what you said really happened.

lol....but it is a scientific fact that milk comes from titties thus validating it.....there is nothing validating neither comments so their pointless till we see some ink on paper for the fight.
