I just hope that Hatton kicks his butt - 140 or 147.

Both are better at 140 than 147. So they should box at 140, if they want to be at their best, but I reckon PBF wants to fight at 147.

I agree with psychopath. I want to see Hatton and Cotto then the winner getting Floyd. It's only fair to throw cotto in the mix, i'm not so sure hatton could even handle mosley

 

Hatton might fight Mayweather at 147lbs officially, but I can guarentee he wont go up in weight, He'll weigh in at like 144lbs and fight night come in around 150lbs like he does when he's at his best. On paper he'll be a welterweight, and he'll be fighting for a welterweight title, but he'll be the same old Ricky Hatton come fight night.

Consider than Floyd will probably weigh around 155lbs-ish on fight night and isn't all that much bigger than Hatton naturally, didnt he start his career at 130lbs, then it should be a fair fight.

well in that second article there were quotation marks " " that means its a direct quote. but either way they've said they'll fight himn anywhere and at 147 and have made an offer, it's now down to pbf to accept, refuse or negotiate. no one can say hatton is demanding anything unreasonable and certainly not ducking him.
