anyone notice that the referee was against him, not to mention the judges? Taking a point away for hitting the ropes, while Sam Peter gets away with repeatedly hitting behind the head on purpose? Ref did not allow Hatton to fight his fight. Come on, anyone notice this?

Farmboxer these points have been brought up a billion times before.

1/ Hattons previous fights had all been officiated by his personal friend Micky Vann, so of course when a referee like Cortez actually upholds the rules its going to make a noticeable difference to hattons game.
2/ He tried to hit Mayweather on the back of the head, flagrant foul, point deduction is fair
3/ Judges, the fight was a KO?

At the end of the day, team Hatton wanted Cortez as the ref & they got what they wanted.
Its as simple as that. You get what you wish for sometimes in life, & as we all know, you should be careful what you wish for.

He should have known better than to fight in America.

Vladimir Klitschko was drugged in Vegas, that's a very good reason they will never fight in Vegas again.

By the way, US Boxing media hates all European fighters and that includes England. They are so biased that it bothers me a lot. I have known that for many years now. And, for those who think Don King is an honest man, I have a bridge I will sell you. There have been many good fighters from Britain, but USTV Boxing media will never admit it.

Try me. You trying to tell me America hates whiteboys?

Sorry to bring skin colour into it, but for any poster to dare say that America does not favour the whiteboy at all times is a joke.

& Im a scottish whiteboy btw.

Who mentioned "whiteboys" - he said European boxers - Naseem Hamed, Herol Graham, Frank Bruno, Michael Sprott, Matt Skelton, Danny Williams, Jean Marc Mormeck, David Haye - whiteboys???

p.s. I dont remeber McGuigan, Duddy, Lee, Dunne, Collins getting much of a hard time over in the US!!

But they all turned out to be crap and that is allowed. Lee the exception, we do not know if he will be really good yet or just another nearly man.

1/ Shame he didnt uphold rules about elbows and ducking below the waist.
2/ He went to hit him but pulled the punch. The rule does not say its a foul to try to the back of the head. It is only a foul if you do so. On that Cortez was very wrong.
3/ Yup, doesn't matter a tit. Anyway judging all round the world is controversial.

America likes Hatton a lot but whoever hired Cortez wanted Floyd to win or Cortez just does not like white guys

Same old ****. Face reality, Hatton was and never will be good enought to beat the PBF's of this world.

You can ***** about the ref as much as you want. Fact is he was outboxed and outfoxed by PBF. The comical headbutt into the turnbuckle was the best thing Hatton did all night.

What excuse you going to use next ?

The turnbuckle was laced with a potent scalp penetrating anesthetic ?

Here is one for you : PBF and his boys put the hottest chilli powder available to mankind in Hattons groin guard and covered it with sweat bio-degrable material. As Hattons balls began to sweat the chilli powder caused a huge eruption in Hattons groin guard. It resulted in him head butting the turnbuckle and losing the fight.
