A negotiation involving millions of money that runs only for 10 days suddenly called off with out any alternative move, plan Bs, Cs?

My conclusion proved me right, and that goes with the title above.

Hatton is now in comfortable position vs odlh. A very lucrative retirement package.

just my idea, dont be so hard on this.

he already had vs pbf, unfortunately he got no chance for it.

he maybe thinking that the next redemption maybe too risky for him.

IMO Ricky Hatton vs Oscar De La Hoya makes no sense and I am a die hard boxing fan and I would not even bother buying the payper view. As far as Im concerned Im sick of seeing De La Hoya in the ring, he should call it a day and quit. Save his brain cells for another day. It's exactly the same as Roy Jones Jr vs Omar Sheika, who the hell wants to see Roy Jones fight again if he's not fighting top level opposition, its exactly the same as Riddick Bowe making a comeback or Holyfield fighting again, who the **** wants to see these guys boxing again ? I definetly dont because they will all send me to sleep, they have had their time and they need to just call it a day and stay retirement. The only 2 fighters I believe who are retired and still have alot to prove is Joe Calzaghe and Floyd Mayweather, the antics involved towards the end of both of those fighters careers does not warrant then as ATG, they havent cemented anything and have not done anything great in my opinion, Floyd has skills but hes got no will, Calzaghe on the other hand ducked out of the sport after fooling the casual fans by beating 2 old men, that's not career defining in my opinion. He needs to fight Dawson, Kessler again or Hopkins again and then Ill shut up, Floyd needs to fight Margarito if Margarito beats Mosley, Cotto and possibly Williams if Williams comes back to 147 but if he doesn't then Margo and Floyd need to meet before Margarito becomes a slowing fighter past his best.
Im tired of these Oscar Hollywood bull**** match ups, he got spanked by Pac so he needs to stick to promoting and thats it...

The only old fighter I like to watch fight is Hopkins because the guy is still a sound technician and he always shocks me by what he is still able to do, I got so much respect for him because he takes risks and he has never taken the easier option. You can only respect a man who has balls. Floyd has all the skill in the world but he is better off retired if he is not looking to fight the toughest of the toughest guys at 147 and that does not include guys stepping up to fight at 147. He should stay retired because he will not be missed by me. It sounds as if I am contradicting myself but what Im saying is if these guys are going to step out of retirement then come out and take on the roughest and toughest opponents, otherwise quit and stay quiet

If Hatton thinks negotiating with Pac is difficult he's got no clue for what he's in for if these Oscar rumors prove to be true.

I agree with a lot of what you said especially the bit about Calzaghe.
I would not pay to watch Hatton fight Oscar, but your casual fan will because people love to watch Ricky fight.I think pac waiting for a Mayweather fight is partly behind all the messing about this week. And i agree Floyd should stay retired,he retires after all his fights then waits for the other guys to genrate big money then rears his head again.I dont miss him either.

    Ricky doesn't.

I absolutely assure you of that.

He did! But since the Pac fight, he has put it on the back burner to maybe be taken up as his last fight (if Oscar is up for it).

No, Ricky REALLY wants Pac, more than anything. Even more than Mayweather now (and Ricky does still believe he has it in him to beat Floyd).

    The question is WHY?

Why do you still want to see Hoya fight?? WHY?

There will be no problem there. don't forget what "GoldenBoy" is.

There is no reason why Rick wouldn't just say about the negotiations "I'll leave it to you Oscar".

No, of all the fights that won't cause any problem with the suits, it would be DLH and Rick.

Like others though, I never wanted to see that fight and I definitely don't now, after seeing that out-take from Dawn of the Dead, with Pac.

I can actually see RH V DLH coming when Ricky decides to retire and it will be a charity match. It will be a fairwell to his fans and the money will go to charities.

In fact, Iv will avatar bet someone on this, if you like (though it won't happen this year or maybe even next.... unless Ricky gets his arse handed to him in either or both of his next two fights).
