yep Erislandy Lara did the damage I believe. Either dropped him or was torturing him, they had to kick him out of camp

 

From what I saw, Jose Luis Castillo was dominating Pacquiao in their sparring session before the Cotto fight. It's not a surprise when the sparring partner is "winning" against the fighter that hired them.

Yeah Shawn gave Manny problems early on in camp, but they say Manny almost dropped him twice after a few weeks.

The only comparison between lara and pacquaio is that they are both southpaws. Exactly how mayweather sr had lara, a 5'9'' - 5'10'' MW sparring hatton against a guy like pac, who is 5'6'' Jr WW at the time with a completely different skill set.... I dont know
