You got em saying stuff like "Hope Floyd fights like a man this time" or "Floyd doesnt fight, he runs". I bet more than half of those fans dont even box. I bet they dont know how hard it is to hit someone when brawling when you got the reach advantage. I bet the only thing those people measure greatness is to look at someone's KO record. If they think that brawling or slugging it out is a measure of toughness, then they are dead wrong. These people dont know **** and probably never will.
I was saying that Mayweather might fight "more like a man" - less precise and more volume and more toe-to-toe - to impress the judges, because they might be swayed negatively by his reputation as a "runner" - boxer (hit without getting hit) - in comparison with "true, honest, come-forward, aggressive" - less technical and more brawling - Hatton.:good
LMAO, now I see some stupid comment "im a filipino and im with hatton. heres the thing if mayweather is as great as many people says he is the best. why r they saying that hel ganna beat haton by dcsion. if he is that good he shud KO haton ryt. " Pretty stupid IMO
I was thinking that the judges would be influenced to take a "political" stance on the fight-styles on offer and that Mayweather, who is usually cast in the losing role in the debate by casual fans, would alter his strategy just slightly to placate his crude critics...and not tempt the judges to go with the flow...
Yep, I know where your getting at. But if people say that he just runs away, then they should watch his fight against Judah. Hell he even went forward against Gatti and Baldomir at some point.
I am not saying anyone here does, as such...but he might get booed by the pro-Hatton audience on the night if he "runs" and that might affect the judges...
