I've never been to Vegas or seen Hatton fight abroad but does anyone know if there are really likely to be 15,000 Hatton supporters making the trip over from UK to watch him this time round. Although that's less then was said to be there to watch him v PBF.

I'm not doubting how popular he is but I just find it difficult to believe that the sort of numbers that are talked about as following Ricky abroad are actually making the trip to watch him. 15,000 is an incredible number - is there an element of exaggeration and hype for effect like if there's a demo and the protesters say 'we had 10,000' and the police say ' there was 500 until we started the brutality'?

    Anyone got any thoughts?

Went over for the Malignaggi fight and it was amazing atmosphere.Brits everywhere. We stayed at the MGM and it was like bein in manchester. But every one said there were 3 times as many at the mayweather fight and a lot watched on big screens unable to get tickets for the arena. I expect there will be easy 15000 fans gone over for this fight, hope they've all got tickets because unlike his other opponents in vegas Pac will have just as much support, which bods for a fantastic atmosphere.(not sure what the philipinos will make of 15000 pissed up mancs)
Lookin forward to the weigh-in tonight because that is a massive occasion in itself.
So wish i was there for this one, gutted. But the wifes heavily pregnant so priorities were questioned.....inconsiderate cow.

Easily 15K for this fight, he took 8 for the Malignaggi fight during a recession. Best followed sportsman in the world bar Beckham.

Def be 15000 there this weekend(if money allowed i'd be one of em). Was easily 30000 there for Mayweather fight every hotel/casino u went in had Brits propping up the bar.
Something like 15/16000 got in MGM out of i think 18000 crowd.
