Well Rickies problems are ****-all compared to the self-inflicted humiliation Duran heaped onto himself what with him telling Leonard to ****-off mid-fight & walking out of the ring especially as he'd beaten the **** out of leonard in Montreal & then losing to Laing looking like a bloated pig & all the time blowing up 4/5 stone & boozing & stuffing his face so giving the press a field day to laugh at him telling him to retire before he sinks any lower & ends up as a punchbag jorneyman at 32 yr's of age.

But that all changed when Bob Arum set Duran a challenge, get in shape & i'll get you a title fight & Duran was re-born when he came back & hammered Pipino Cuevas & then massacered Davey Moore to win the 154 title & then he jumps up to middleweight to take the great hagler 15 tight rounds. Go's back on the free buffet & ****-up route then has to drop 4 stone to fight hearns & gets wiped out in 2 rounds (sound familier) It must be over know surely????

But Hearns gets sparked by Iran Barkley in 3 rounds & Duran then at 37 beats Barkley + dropping him on the way, so beating the man who beat the man who KO'd him.

So Hatton should take a leaf out of Duran's book & shut the **** up whinning & show some self imposed discipline & take this fight bizzness seriously & get back into the gym instead of floating around like a pissed up fat pig wailing WOE is me & behaving like some grand queen mother of boxing issuing statements from his TV company.

This is the test of the MAN that when facing adversity & staring into the abyss he discovers himself. Hatton's still a young fighter in todays range compared to 20 years ago when 32 was gereatric. If you want to be a Duran then ****ing act like one & get back on the ****ing horse & don't fold up whining & feeling sorry for yourself just because you've failed twice, DURAN DID IT AGAINST NEAR IMMPOSIBLE ODDS & all down to self belief & self discipline & thats why he's the living legend that he is today. Only you can do it ricky & i was there that night 8 years ago when HE TOLD YOU THAT!!!!

Duran's yer idle yeh!!! Well you would'nt see Duran spewing out that cynical bleating & pityfull crap in financial damage limitation. So set an example & shut yer yap & get into the gym & take this trade seriously & show your fans the respect they deserve for making you a very rich young man.

You reap what you sow & IMO you got what you deserved against Pacman for being a pisshead & now seeing that you are facing your 1st true test of adversity as a man we'll now see what you are really made of & so will you!!!

Because of that debacle of a fight v. KT. Wasn't Hatton's fault, the way that went down, but it left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth.

 

You could have just said 'Duran is SO much more manly than Ricky, and I REALLY want to get all over his ****' and saved us all a lot of reading. Not that anyone read that semi-illiterate ode to homosexuality.

Hatton probably needs one last fight, a nice cherry picked affair that he can exorcise some demons with and then move on with his life.

 

Hatton needs to accentuate the positive, he has a lot going for him a kid of modest skills who made a killing .....You want depressed, if anyone should be suicidal its luis Collazo, robbed twice and broke a wrist vs Mosely and hasnt been heard from since. No rematches no paydays .......probably more talented than you Rick, just not as lucky. There's a ton of fighters out there with greater talent than you who where ****ed, never made money and had to carry on .....stop feeling sorry for yourself. You made out pretty good.....see it for what it was, you were never SRR Robinson and were never going to be, but what you are is very lucky and hopefully still very rich. A Champion they cant ever take that from you, so lighten up arent you that lighthearted chap about town, oh thats right that was all bull****. Well, now is the time to be that regular dart throwin everyman, lighthearted farting, laughing and enjoying life.
