a good trainer knows how to earn respect from his boxer. a boxer who respect his trainer follows what his trainer says with confidence. ricky did not follow his trainer hence, he did not have the respect and total confidence of his trainer ability - thus negating the claim of his trainer, being the best in all times. trainer should not only take responsibility if his fighter wins but he should do so at any eventuality.
The moment Ricky exposed his ass cheeks with that thong . Mayweather knew then that his fighter was borderline ******ed. I think Hatton ignored the man to be a ****. To be spiteful. That spite got him knocked spark the **** out . I thought that was inevitable to begin with but with a little defense even getting ko'd doesnt have to be that brutal:deal ESPN refuses to show the final blow. Thats the kind of blow that makes women cry and petition to get boxing banned
Floyd Sr is totally to blame for this loss. There was nothing in this fight from Ricky Hatton that showed me that he knew how to protect his face. Ricky's hands were constantly at his ribcage and he got caught because of it.
Was it Floyd Mayweather snr who got knocked out as a result of being completely outclassed? The trainer is not to blame, one man was just too good on the night. That simple. You can over analyze this **** forever.
Hatton is to blame. He did not listen to a damn thing Mayweather taught him. Plus, Hatton's Chin is shot. He can't take a good punch anymore. He has a Glass Jaw now. He needs to retire.
Ageed. Plus it is Hatton who hired Floyd Sr., he needs to take responsibility for that also. If you see your trainer doesn't work for you change the trainer.
The moral of the story is you cant teach an old dog new tricks,Ricky has been fighting the same way all his life. Instead of accepting his defeat to the better fighter when he fought PBF,he blamed Billy Graham, cue new trainer and the same result. Time to look at yourself in the mirror Ricky.
