So Urango, Maussa, and Castillo are legit and successful titles defenses for Hatton when the available fighters in the weight division during his reign at 140 were Floyd, Torres, Holt, Judah, Bailey, Corley, and Witter?

Good post man and I agree that a shot Eubank although clearly lost the fight on points showed us that if JC fought fighters at Eubanks level when they were prime he probably not have a 0 in his record.

I disagree with your point about Witter in the sense that if they fought when Hatton was WBU champ Witter would have KOed him and Hatton's abilities would have been put in to a better persepctive. Hatton is world class and a top fighter but skillfull and awkward counter punches with power would probably always beat Hatton.

I am gutted by the way Hatton lost and that brutal KO is still replaying in my mind.

He fought Floyd at a higher weight!!

Holt:lol: Torres - the same - :they are big punches but thats their whole game really...both beaten by lesser fighters than Ricky ever lost to or beat.

Judah the Great Pretender.... seems to beat everyone on paper but loses in ring...

Witter was knocked down and beat by Bradley... Bradley is still unproven....

    *yawn*

Fraud is harsh. As others have already said, - to be beaten by the best 2 boxers of the last few years isn't a bad achievement. He's got some good fighters on his resume.

It's not an achievement at all.

Wow, I sure struck a nerve there!

You obviously give a ****, you fat **** :yep

So if Hatton is a fraud, why did PBF fight him, and take 10 rounds to stop him? :hey

    Let me guess..."styles make fights"?

Just getting in the ring with fighters of that quality is an achievement!!

Lets not applaud - give excuse - for the tomato can bashes aye.

Hatton could have retired 45-0 had he chosen to. He chose not to!

Hatton beat everyone but the two guys people considered the best in boxing. I wouldn't call him a fraud. He's just not one of the best.

I can guarentee that I am in way better shape than you. Get lost Mutley, we don't need your repetitive garbage on here.

Floyd fought Hatton because it was a fight a lot of people wanted to see and it made him a lot of money. I really don't care how long it took him to stop Hatton, he won damn near every round and Hatton didn't land anything of significance the entire fight. Hatton was embarrased and knocked the **** out.

A little harsh for my style, but I would say you're technically correct.

Ricky could have shown in the ring he was better than Holt or Torres, but he didn't he was too scared. Judah is a pretender? How so? Hatton could have proved he was better than Judah but he was too scared. Witter got beat by Bradley, but Bradley went on to show not only does he have a great chin, but he is legit. He beat Holt into submission and took the fight out of him, he has already been through more than Hatton at the same stage in their career.

Judah would have been a good fight, but Holt and Torres are still to this day a level below Hatton and are nothing he hasn't beaten already.

Can't really consider him a fraud, his losses are against #1 P4P fighters and the greatest two fighters of this generation, a fraud won't even attempt to fight these guys.
