At least the actually have the balls to step up. The British mentality is that its better to try, and fail, than not to try at all.
Fraud isn't a good word. Not given what he accomplished. Should he ever have been a part of P4P discussions? Probably not.
Did it take his losses to Mayweather and Pacquiao to realize he was not an elite fighter I could of told you he was not elite a long time ago.
I'm glad someone is calling out Hatton. He is a chump who got famous because he caught Koysta with one foot in retirement. He took that one win to the bank and for some reason people actually look at him like he is an elite, contender, or championship fighter when he isn't. He loses to class opposition, he makes his name beating shot former big name fighters and stays away from his peers and contemporaries who are equally hungry. I hope he tries to fight Bradley, so his ass could be punished for 12 whole rounds.
I honestly believe Hatton is a Gatti/Ward level fighter & that it's amazing he made it as far as he did
true but hatton worked hard to get a place where he could fight guys like floyd. you got to have a lot of respect for him for wanting to do that.
let them label you if the thread was objective. ask them to tell you why and back it up and if they cant do that then they arent worth replying to.
looking back at that fight the referee let Hatton get away with murder. Had there been a neutral referee I wonder if the Kostya fight would have been different? Does anyone think Hatton would have beat KT with Joe Cortez or Jay Nady as the referee? I doubt it.
2 defeats against P4P no.1 dont make Hatton a fraud. Thousands of boxers would have loved to have had the career Hatton has had.
