Anyone who ever put Hatton into their top 10 pfp rankings should have been embarrassed.

He was never on that level :nono

That doesn't mean he wasn't a good fighter however.

He has a few nice wins and his 2 losses have been to the 2 best fighters in the world.

He is a good fighter just not an elite level guy.

He was tailored made for Pac and got his ass handed to him.

    lol

You'd have to be pretty silly to think Hatton was an elite fighter. You could see with the naked eye that he was not an elite fighter, even before he lost to Mayweather.

    Hatton is a B or B+ fighter.

    True.

****, I was well known for starting threads like that in the British forum two crashes ago. The Brits used to think I was "trying to take the ****" and "slag" one of their heroes. I was just being honest. I would consistently tell them he's not even a fighter, he's a wrestler, a British brawler who's fought exactly no one. He's not a p4p champ cuz he out-wrestled an old Kostya Tszyu.

They all would reply, "**** off. He's the man cuz he beat the man," referring to his "win" over Tszyu.

HAtton is a fraud! He ducked Witter for ages and loses to any top 140 fighter (Witter, Bradley, Holt) the guy has been kept in cotton wool for the majority of his career.

YOu are giving him credit for beating Mausaa, Castillo, and Malinaggi. Did you see those fights, did you see how the performed before they fought him?

This is what I'm talking about. YOu Hatton fans are ****ing blind.

    Read the thread.

I could give a rat's ass what condition they were in, we've got people saying Hatton was a regional fighter, and you don't beat these guys if you are a regional fighter.

I mean, I knew the backlash was going to be harsh, everyone saying he was shot, garbage, etc. It always is after Manny wins. But this is ridiculous.

This thread is just a blatant lie.

Hatton was the undisputed champ at 140. He put so much pressure on the Great Kostya Tszyu that he made him quit. He won a title at 147, and beat some excellent fighters in the process. So what if he couldn't beat Mayweather and Pacquiao? Who has been able to beat those guys. Just winning any alphabet soup title is more than 99.999% of the fighters that get into this business ever do. Ricky won multiple titles at two different weight classes, held the undisputed title at 140, and was the 2005 Ring Magazine fighter of the year.

Before you **** on people's legacy's you should get your facts straight. Ricky Hatton could not have accomplished what he did unless he was a really good fighter.

I didnt think he'd lose so quick, but seriously people have been questioning if he was past it and his punch resistance was gone with the Lazcano fight, he's clearly seen better days, why the suprise. Paquaio beat up Eric Morales almost as easily but that doesn't mean Morales was a bad fighter.

I think it's clear Hatton was never top-top level but he's got one win over a great fighter and a bunch more over pretty good opposition and made Mayweather have to work for a win which is more than others did, who Mayweather did whatever he wanted too when he wanted too. Lets not go overboard with the knee jerk "hatton iz teh suxor!!!11" **** shall we?

Hatton is the true 140 lbs champ ever since he KOed Tszyu.

He lost to PBF and Pac but that does not mean he is fraud.
