I'm not happy about Hatton being in close proximity to chokers so close to the big fight. It could dishearten him.

 

I think Hatton looks bigger than 143 and he looks v fast and strong

 

That's cool and all as long as there is in no way any contraversy about the actual fight, because obviously DLH is the promoter and a very influencial figure in boxing. IMO, if he wants to be buddies with Hatton he should wait until after the fight. Or if he gives any special favors to one fighter, he should try to do the same for the other.

 

i dont think this is good buisiness for a promoter of such a big fight to out right pick a side before the fight and be giving pointers and showing up at training sessions.....it just doesnt look good and could get spun into something it may not be.

 

At the end of the day tw men get into the ring and the promoter can only watch. I don't believe DLH is like Don King

It's nice to see Oscar visiting Ricky duringt training, but I wonder if it was not Mayweather Hatton was facing, & De La Hoya was still the promoter, would Oscar still visit Hatton?

Mayweather made a good point when asked what he thinks about Oscar picking Ricky win. Floyd said he respected Oscar's view, but stated that what else could De La Hoya say? If Oscar said if he felt Hatton is going to lose, then that would not go down so well.

Oscar is Hatton's promoter, so you got to have confidence in your guy. De La Hoya's not an idiot, he knows that by him saying he feels Hatton will win, showing his support for Ricky, there's every chance a bout will happen between the two next year.
