Unless i've missed it, i have'nt once heard graham knock ricky bout the split. Its all one way, making a big deal out of avoiding him when all he does is slag him continuously.Mayweather jumped on the band wagon too, and he's only listening to hatton. Is this all bitterness cause he lost against mayweather and looked bad against lazcano ? Either way its getting drawn out , that should'nt be makin the paper what i read today.....Does hatton just repeat himself these days.....

I worked a night shift last night and am still a bit dopey, so if someone could rearrange the words in both the title and the OP into sentences that I can comprehend, that would be very much appreciated.

This is bollocks. Ricky has only said that he didn't want to put Billy through another camp as he was struggling. If you watch any of the 24x7 shows from the build up to the PBF fight you would see that Billy was struggling really badly. I think it is a brave decision by Ricky after being with Billy for so long.

I think he's asking if Otto Von Bismarck could have prevented the first world war if he had been Prussian Chancellor during the July Crisis.
    Good question.

I see. I'm going to say 'no' on account of his deadness, which would have hampered his efficiency.

I'm sure others may disagree, however.

Jamie Moore, Stephen Bell, Paul Smith, Mathew Macklin, Mathew Hatton................... they all get sick to death of Bully Graham and walked.

Ricky does it and the world goes bezerk.

Graham is perhaps the richest boxing trainer in the UK !

And for what? smoking ***s and sitting in his office as Ricky does the graft.

Graham needs to stop playing the victim.

When Matty Hatton left, Graham rang Ray up immeadiately... to enquire as to when his cheque would arrive for The Homecoming.

i think its very low of hatton to insult graham, i read about him having a dig at him on the bbc sport website, asking why is he here?

hatton needs to learn some dam respect and remember his roots

I think that if they had simply told the truth from the beginning, nobody would be all that fussed.

Rather than bringing out the bull**** train about Graham choosing to retire - they ought to have known that Billy is certainly a guy that will fight his corner (see the constant rows with Frank Warren).

    If he had simply said.....

''I had hoped that this day would never come, but I need to realise that in order to progress my career further, I need a fresh approach. As part of that new approach, I feel it is necessary that I bring in a new trainer to help me through to the end of my career. I would like to thank Billy for everything he has done for me throughout my great career - from being a 16 year old amateur, winning the British title and pushing my against the advice of others to seek greatness in taking on the likes of Tszyu and Mayweather, but feel I have gone a tad stale in recent months.

You would also remember from the successful 24/7 series, that Billy had to take painkilling injections in his hands and neck in order to prepare me for my fights - which I feel is too big a sacrifice for him to make.

Once again, thanks Billy - we had some wonderful times in boxing, hopefully we can remain friends following the end of my career.

    Ricky''

It would have been fine IMO.
