Hatton has always been and always will be out of Witter's league

No doubt Junior Witter would be awkward for Hatton for a few rounds, his style is a tricky one, but I dont see him keeping a lid on Hatton for 12 gruelling rounds. Thats something I've never seen Witter do in his whole career. I've never seen him dig deep like Hatton has many many times.

Witter looks stunning when he fights **** guys, but he's never looked as devastating when he's fighting class. Corley and N'Dou are both respectable opponents, but Witter didn't dominate them like he should've. Witter was clearly a better fighter than N'dou, but he got lazy and let his fot off the gas, letting N'Dou nearly steal the fight. Against Harris, once again, he was clearly a more skilled fighter, but he carried Vivian for at least 3 or 4 rounds longer than he should've. Against Judah he didn't even try to fight, he just stank up the joint. He had nothing to lose, he should've at least gone all-or-nothing and tried brawling Judah!

When he fights domestic level fighters he looks brutal, but up against someone who's too experienced to be blown out he tends to disappoint.

Hatton is probably not as skilled as Witter, although Ricky was once a great boxer he now relies on his courage and physicality to win fights. That wont matter though, because Witter is not someone who can dominate someone for a full 3 minutes of all 12 rounds. I've never seen him do that against anyone remotely world class.

Hatton is a fighter who will not get discouraged, never back down, never take a moment to rest. He's not always pretty but he puts his opponents through hell. That spells real problems for Junior Witter. If Junior Witter gives Hatton and inch he'll take a mile. If Junior Witter so much as thinks about dropping his hands and running away he'll get bullied into a corner and his ribs smashed up.

The awkward, Brendan Ingle switch-hitting style never does well against relentless body punchers who have good chin's and big heart's. If you want my prediction, look at Barrera - Hamed, and thats how the fight goes. Hatton being Barrera and marching his man down, and Witter, like Hamed, running out of idea's once his counter-shots dont take his man out.

    Ricky Hatton by late stoppage.

From what I've seen of Witter, he's very speedy but operates very well when opponents gives him time and space. Hatton's the opposite type of opponent, plus he's very good at closing the distance.

If Witter can emulate Floyd's shoulder roll style, he can win but not too many fighters can.

I'd agree if they were the only fights he took but Lazcano, Urango, Collazo and Maussa?

    Witter knocks Hatton out explosively.
