Sell out Azteca Stadium like Chavez did and then he'll have made me impressed.

Britain is just in dire need of a sporting team that actually wins once in a while they'll go see anything ;)

No a shock. It seems that many of the people in his area seem to think that he is the greatest man since that Jesus dude.

That would pay to watch him clip his toenails.

Only thing is what up with that 60,000 people in Vegas...that is a flat out LIE.

Damn I forgot about that..Wasnt it something like 130,000 people to watch him fight Haugen I believe. That was unreal. That was like the 20's and 30's when 80,000 wasnt a reach for many elite fights.

Do Britain have a top 3 Rugby team?
    Greatest indoor cycling team?
Greatest rowing team on the planet?
Best sailing team on the plant?

I remember when he lost to Mayweather and idiot American commentators were saying he wont be a draw anymore! He wont be able to bring the fans in like he did! Maybe true if he had american fans but thats not how it works in England.

    British are actually loyal!

They don't care if their football team or whatever is crap, they still go - I should know, I support Leeds!

Well, they do care, but wouldn't switch to another team for sake of it (generally). Man Utd and Liverpool fans please take note!

To me he lost the collazo fight, to me he would of been stopped by castillo if not for that lucky body shot, to me witter will ko him in less than 5, and i hope lazcano demolishes him, he was last exciting before the kstya fight, seemed imo to be that fight that he started mauling and holding more, and is it just me or did kostya fight a ridiculous fight getting drawn into an inside maulfest instead of standing off and picking hatton apart which he 100% could of done?????

    Kungfu,

Collazo didn't beat him. If it had been an amateur bout he would probably have edged it, but with the ten point scoring system, he didn't win enough rounds to do so, and with the knockdown clearly lost, though it was a close affair throughout.

Castillo was outworked in the first two rounds, and was even in the third, before Hatton stepped on the accelerator and started to work to the body. It was not a lucky punch - he had been targeting the body with some success before finding the perfect spot, and down he went. He didn't have the power to keep Hatton off, this was clear throughout the bout.

Witter would not engage sufficiently to KO him in less than five - he took his time against Harris before icing him superbly, and remember, Hatton is much better than Harris in all departments, especially the chin.

Tszyu wasn't allowed to stand off him, Hatton stuck on his chest throughout the fight, and Tszyu wasn't exactly an angel himself, though admittedly Hatton should have had a point taken. It was a high risk strategy, but worked 100%, and both he and his trainer should be credited suitably.

I can only recall two Hatton fights that have been ****, the Carlos Vilches one, and the Juan Urango fight - on each occasion Ricky admitted he didn't really turn up etc, whilst other fights such as Collazo, where he was below par, were still decent fights.

If you are going to hate on someone, at least have grounds for your argument!

You ask half the people buying Hatton tickets to name 10 fighters ranked in the Ring P4P top 25 and I'd be willing to be the names they come out with Hatton, Mayweather, and Joe C. They're not Boxing fans, they're fans of the spectacle, and they're Nationalists.
