I haven't got time to rip this to peices tonight, but rest assured i'll be back in the morning. Just one thing though before i log off. The four fighters i we're talking about we're Haye, Calzaghe, Hatton and Witter, i could of added Woods, Khan and a couple others to the list.

I'll be back tomorrow, and im gonna rip this post to peices.

    Goodnight for now :good

Farther to travel? What further than Manchester to Las Vegas for Ricky Hatton's fans? How many American boxing fans would even consider travelling to another country to support their fighters? You just don't have the same levels of devotion and loyalty that we have towards our sporting heroes.

All excuses! Distance? We have a football tournament over here called the Euro Champions League, we still travel in thousands to different countries in Europe on a Wednesday night for a football game. Your excuses are a joke! Ticket prices? Do you think its free to travel from England to Vegas? Do you think we got free hotels? You are a joker!

Ah, here we are. First off, lets forget the rankings, as we all know they are inconsistent and biased to certain continents. Lets move onto champions, and i don't mean no interim bull**** either.

    Heavyweights - America 0 Great Britain 0
Cruiserweights - America ( Steve Cunningham IBF) Great Britain (David Haye WBA, WBO WBC, Ring champion) 1-0 to GB
Light Heavyweight - America (Chad Dawson WBC, Bernard Hopkins Ring champion) Great Britian ( Clinton Woods IBF) 1-1 although this may change when Calzaghe faces Hopkins.
Super Middleweight - America 0 Great Britian (Joe Calzaghe WBO, WBA, WBC, Ring champion) 2-1 GB
Middleweight - America (Kelly Pavlik WBO, WBC, Ring champion) Great Britain 0 2-2
Light Middleweight - America - (Vernon Forrest WBC, Verno Philllips IBF)
    Great Britain 0 3-2 US
Welterweight America (Floyd Mayweather Jr, WBC, Ring champion) Great Britian 0 4-2 US
    Light Welterweight -
America (Paulie Malignaggi IBF) Great Britian (Ricky Hatton Ring champion, Juniour Witter WBC) 4-3 US
    Lightweight -
America (Nate Cambell WBO, WBA, IBF, David Diaz WBC) Great Britain 0 5-3 US
Featherweight - America (Steve Lueveno WBO, Robert Guerrero IBF) Great Britain 0 6-3 US

None of us have any champions below these weight divisions so lets just leave it at that. By my reckoning, that gives you 12 champions to our 5, as you have a population 5 times the size of ours, i'd say Great Britian OWNS America in a pound for pound sense, wouldn't you agree? Its also 3-3 when it comes down to ring champions, you can take this however you wan't, but the Ring champion means the man of the division to me.

So, you own 3 divisions, and we own 3 divisions, again, with 5 times the population, you should be owning us here, but its EVEN!

The list of boxers you gave for people to be a fan of is laughable. Im not even going to get into that, anyone can name names and say oh, we have to be a fan of these aswell as the main guys.

Farther to travel? Where the **** are you getting this from? You guys never even leave your home town to go and see one of your own, we travel thousands of miles, for any of our top fighters. You guys sell 20000 tickets for a superfight, over here it would sell triple them figures, and in half the time.

As for boxing fans being a small percentage of the population in the US, thats true unfortunatly, but its just the same here. You have far more boxing fans in the US than we do in the UK. That point doesn't stand up im afraid.

As for boxing not being in the top 10 over there, its not much higher over here. We have football, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby League, Rugby Union and others.

Just accept it, Britain OWNS the US in a pound for pound perspective, and our fans **** all over yours from a great height, especially when it comes to loyalty.

Im done for now. If you wan't to debate any of the points i've thrown across, then im going to be here all day :good

    This American would not disagree.

Hatton deserves his fans he goes to the bar and has a beer with his fans-guys like Mayrunner just shits all over their fans and cannot transcend the sport.
