this is why Hatton is a better fighter. Besides, Castillo is old/shot.

Ricky will win this 1 with ease.

    Castillo - Mayweather x 2, Corrales X 2, Casamayor
Hatton - Tsyzu, Collazo, Tackie, Magee

Come on you cant believe that Hattons resume is better.

Hatton does not have a better or comparable resume to Castillo. Did you see all that mumble jumble Hatton came out with to try and justify his record was comparable in anyway. It was a mess and his points were ridiculous.

Jose Luis Castillo is already a great lightweight. Hatton is still a one hit wonder. This is the fight that will prove otherwise. If Castillo loses, it isn't because he is ****, he just lost. He is a proven fighter.

Castillo in my eyes is technically undefeated at 135. I have him 1-1 with Floyd and Corrales.

Castillos fought and beaten three greats in Casamayor, Corrales and Mayweather. His B competition at 135 is extremely impressive. We are talking about champs and top contenders like Diaz and Lazcano. Let's not forget strong titlists like Johnston.

Hatton simply can't compare his record and deep down he'd be stupid not to admit it.

No, Castillo's record is better. However, after this fight Hatton's resume will be impressive:

1 x ATG, 1 elite opponent, three ABC champions - I think he beat some very good fighters on the way up, but in terms of an elite fighters resume, those five are obviously the most impressive (though I do think castillo is on the slide).

Let's say he fights Diaz next, that would give him 1 x ATG, two elite opponents, and three ABC champs in two weight divisions. That might not be a p4p #1 list, but that would still be better than most elite fighters by the age of 28. People go on about the number of fights, but look at the age at which he stepped up his competition - then it's been a fair ride to the top (though I think he coulda beaten Tszyu one even two years earlier - Hatton was already the complete package by then).

I think Hatton can outwork Castillo, but it's a very dangerous fight for both. I give Hatton a slight edge.

If Castillo is shot, why is Hatton fighting him?
