Not to knock out Cotto in the early rounds, 2 or 3 rounds, if he has the opportunity to do it. He should do it towards the end of the fight.
Why? Because in such a case, the usual Pac haters will call Cotto:

    1. a shot fighter
    2. a non-technical fighter who has no defense
    3. overrated fighter.
    4. bum, fraud
    5. Margo leftover.

This situation happened before in the Morales 2 and 3. More on 3 bec he KOd Erik in the 3rd round. It happened in Hatton's fight. It will happen again in Cotto if Pac does not do as I say.

    :rofl

If Pacquiao has any chance to end this fight early he better take it.

i believe he did it only once in the larios fight. iirc he has a chance early on but decided to take the long route to polish his boxing skills. he almost paid for it when larios connected that visibly hurt pac for a couple of seconds. other than that fight, i cannot think of a fight that he carried.

Who cares what a bunch of arm chair warriors think....LMAO
If the KO comes take it!

I can imagine Pac thinking to himself, I could knock him out, But then what will ESB say?
    (I won't get full credit)

    **** outta here...

    Agree with the above comments.
You dont carry or coast with Cotto. You have to(try and)beat him. He's way too dangerous to try and prop up.
Very difficult thing to do,and it could be argued its yet to be done legitimately/legally.

Hatton had just got knocked out by Floyd before the Pac fight... It's one thing when your undefeated but when have just been knocked out in the one of your last 2 fights it takes the steam out of another knockout....

Thats just common sense...Just like Hatton has less credibility as a fighter after the Pac fight... See how that works?

Hatton was never that good to begin with. Once he started to box under regular boxing rules he was quickly exposed as the limited boxer that he always was.

No. He shouldn't chase the KO, but if he sees a chance to stop Cotto he should do it. Cotto is very dangerous after all, taking it easy on him and not finishing him when he can would be very risky for Pac. But since we're talking about the Pacman I don't think we should be worried about this anyways, he'll finish Cotto as soon as he sees a chance to do it.

Naw, Hatton was a very good fighter. No ATG like Pac or Mayweather, but he was a very good fighter, even if a bit rough around the edges.
