Hatton. Let's talk about Hatton. What did he do to deserve a fight against Floyd or Pacquiao?? First, Floyd, who talks a lot of **** but is a smart businessman, decided to fight Hatton just after he saw him look like **** against Luis Collazo. THAT IS A FACT.
Then, Manny who is really more the size of Hatton, understood he could destroy him faster than Floyd. Who did Hatton beat between those fight???? Lazcano and Malignaggi??? PLEASE!!!

At least, I can be assured that most posters here won't field excuses after a Pac win.
That is the objective of this thread anyway.

Did I get you, right? No excuses for a Cotto loss?

man, you are REALLY worried about pac not getting credit if he beats cotto. if i were you, i'd be more worried about IF pac will beat cotto.

First of all, Hatton IS a non-technical fighter with no defense who always was overrated, secondly, nobody will say that about Cotto, we all know that isn't the case. Third, Cotto is already past the distinction of bum or fraud, if Pac beats him, he beat a legitimate welter, and one of the top welters on the planet and nobody can take that away from him. That being said, I'm almost leaning towards a late Cotto stoppage, but based on the fact that Pac always has me eating serious crow over the past couple years, I'm very hesitant to stay on that prediction. :think

Morales was kind of shot in the 3 fight. It wasn't Pac problem that he was shot be this was the reality :)

and pac finished off morales the way a shot fighter should be disposed of. even david diaz at 135 could not stop a shot morales.

I'm not worried about that because Pac will eventually win.

Are you sure? Before the dela Hoya fight, almost everybody (about 90%) said dela Hoya will murder Pac. You know what happened after that. All of a sudden, dela Hoya was called a bum, boxing's embarassment, a shot fighter, etc. Pac was never given credit for that win despite the odds against him. I'm afraid same thing will happen here if the Pac wins this fight in a lopsided manner.

The longer the fight, the better for Pac. Cotto is that same after the Margo fight. He tires easily.

Yeah I'm Cotto fan but so what when you fight the best you lose from time to time. But for me is funny that you are so sure that Pac is going to win that you already worry about the reaction on ESB :)

True this is the way. But the Diaz example is not good. He is durable but doesn't have speed or punching power to K.O. Morales.
