i disagree on the pbf fight. he had a very good chance. it just came to late in his career. the booze and excess eating has finally caught up with him thats why he got beat badly by mayweather. if the fight had of happened in 2004/05 at 140 he would of had a 50/50 chance
Good post and all Jeff but if what people are saying is so bull**** then there is not reason for anyone to defend Hatton, just ignore it all, cause he is the real deal to many, right?
Sorry mate but that is another fallacy. Watch PBF fight against Gatti at 140 pounds to win the WBC title that might have been the best PBF ever arguably up their with his win over the then undefeated Corrales. Had they fought at 140 a few years back Hatton would have got a worse beating especially as PBF was even sharper then and hit harder then pound for pound than he does at 147. Hatton would lose to PBF if they fought a 100 times as he is ready made to order for PBF.
I wouldn't make Mayweather-Hatton 50/50 at 140lbs in 2005 but I'd like Hattons chances at lot more than at 147 and 2007.
