The bottom line is that most people expected him to put up a much better fight than that, wether Pac is the P4P king or not.

I hope to God he doesn't binge it like he did after the May fight, that was painful to watch, if he is going to retire he should maybe go home sober, and not drink crates of beer.

I hope what Roach said to him about abusing hi body makes him think a bit, because if he keeps on doing it he wont be able to fight at all.

Oh I agree. I think he just fought the wrong fight and got punished for it. I mean you must admit nobody was getting up after that punch.

He was expected to be good enough to avoid that punch for a lot longer than he did. :yep

It also disappointed me that he pulled the same stunt against Mayweather in the 1st round by walking into each and every hook thrown.

That said it's not Ricky's fault. Pac was too fast for him and too powerful. It was an if not when situation by that point.

Very true, I mean after the First KD I was worried that this fight might only last a few more rounds, because i knew that hatton wouldn't try and contain pac for a few rounds he would try to go man o e mano like has done all his career. It spectaculary failed.

Thats what I'm thinking. Pick a can and sell out Man City Stadium for one last hurah.

Sure he doesn't have to but why the hell not?

He is done at the elite level though, pack it in after that.

The thing is you have someone who admitted to falling apart after he lost a fight to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Ballooned up in weight, had a falling out with his trainer, struggled with the drinks and all that ilk. Now if he retires after a big loss that's MORE free time on his hands after an even MORE crushing loss with ALL those bad habits piling up on top of each other.

He really needs a few fights to end his career on just so that he doesn't go in under some serious depressed state but with his head held high and a few extra dollars of joy in his pocket.

Thats another way of looking at it, there is no way to replace that high of stepping in the ring in a fight like Saturday night.

No shame in losing to the best boxer in the World today. If he retires, he ws a hell of a fighter.

I disagree! Next time Pacman wouldn't have to waste half a round to figure Hatton out. He'll get to work right away- 1st round KO! By the time the 10th match rolls around, Hatton will probably pass out at the weigh-in :yep

Ffs People how does its not his fault? , i mean WTf he could just hold his gloves higher than his Chest? after first round any amateur would protect himself better than ricky did

he lost this fight in this fashion cuz he was brainless , idk its really hard to explain when a guy catches 2 knokdowns in fukin first round and then he starts 2nd exactly same way , same style ..... wiith 0 defence ,

said that i wisch him good , good to see his fine, cuz when i saw that Brutal KO i was thinking that he wont leave the ring by his own legs.
