what is 6 months going to do? grow muscles on his chin? Allow him time to develop some skill?
he'd get wiped out by DLH who must be one of the most overrated fighters of a generation and is past him best too. Hatton was rocked badly by Lazcano's left hook...DLH hits waaaaayyy harder with that punch and there's no way Hatton will avoid it for more thana couple of rounds.

i would love to see him fight the winner of cotto-margarito. i think it would be a very competitive and exciting fight because both fighters know they have to make oscar work in the first half of the fight to tire him out and hate if you want but oscar can fight.

Me too Pad, and if by any chance they get it on over here me and the lads will be there shouting him on to better things, i just think its complete madness, i been saying since before Mayweather that thoughts of Oscar is nuts, i just cant believe he still considering it...

Im Hatton all the way but i only see him getting KTFO by Oscar, i can only think he is considering the fact that Oscar is a SUper Megafight, toe to toe, and Oscar can be vunrable to the body, Hatton is still the best single shot body puncher on the planet and when he pops them right Oscar would fall like anyone else.....but its still nuts tho

Yup! I'd be therre too but cant see a win. I'd rather see Hatton clear out Light-welter and then maybe a Pac fight if he still wants a mega (cash) fight. Malignaggi, Torres and Bradley. Then he can do whatever he wants before retiring

I like Hatton but theres no way he sould fight Oscar if this fight goes ahead I would really have question Hattons dad and trainer for letting this fight go ahead. Hatton will be lucky to go 5 five with Oscar I think he is going to take one hell of a beating.

Exactly, something like Malignaggi, Bradley and Pac to finish, its all he needs, his reputation and legacy will not be tarnished finishing unified LWW champ.....

One thing though, imagine, if you can for a sec, that he does fight Oscar....and he beats him, i know we said its crazy but if Hatton is thinking of it that way he could be onto something, leaving Oscar on the bottom with 4 broken ribs when no-one said he even had a chance, would it soften the PBF loss to the wider audience, yes, more than steering clear of anything above LWW.....is it madness or a plan.

(sorry i think i was dreaming there for a moment, it surely must be nuts)

I dont think if he won he'd get that much credit you know... People would say Oscar was shot. I think the only clear route for him to establish a legacy would be to clear out LWW. Either that or beat a WW champ (marg/williams/cotto) but that is not going to happen either. Clear out LWW and I'll be made up for him!
