That was DQ worthy in my opinion, you can see Kostya's performance getting worse after that and I can't blame him. 1 point or 2 SHOULD have been deducted but of course they let it go and the warning was pathetic.

Of course Hatton fans wouldn't bother mentioning that but would complain about Cortez all night.

The second KD is definetely contributed to the 1st knockdown, it was a blocked punch but Hatton still got put down.

Hatton looked like he regained his balanced in the 2nd round and even got Pacquiao a few times who was thinking Knockout, but once Pacquiao got back to boxing, Hatton got KTFO.

Hatton vs Tszyu Post-Fight Quotes ... straight from Hatton's own mouth.

Hatton: 'Because I was on him so quickly in every round, he was never able to land his right hand where his bite is. I kept the distance between us close and rode his shots, took the sting out of them.'
Hatton: 'He never really caught me flush.'
Hatton: 'At the start of every round he fired the right because he knew it was the only time he had that bit of distance that he revels in. But he never caught me with it.'

    -----------

So I'll take it from Hatton that Tszyu never hit him flush, because Hatton himself said it. It's only Hatton's fans that say 'Hatton took Tszyu's best shots.'

Funnily enough ... and I wonder if anyone would agree with me ... I thought it was actually Tszyu who showed how to beat Hatton during the middle rounds. He clocked Hatton quite a few times with a left hook off the jab as Hatton rushed in, stumbles him into the ropes at one point ... but simply ran out of stamina to keep it going just when I thought he'd started to take over. Add in a legit bodyshot knock down as well...the guy just got old and couldn't keep up the pace required, nor pull the trigger on his big right. Hell, you could even argue Tszyu proved he was the harder bodypuncher of the two. Hatton's best punch of the fight was his first or second round running headbutt and a low-blow.

And I always liked Graham's response to a rematch with Tszyu on neutral grounds.
Graham: 'They'll be no rematch. We got him (Tszyu) at the right time'.
