Hatton: I want Pacquiao before Floyd gets to fight him

    Excactly Hatton - Pac is the better fight, hatton is the linear champ at 140 and the styles match up well against each other, this would be fight of the year I have no doubt. Hatton doesnt like fast southpaws but Hatton has th strength to make the added weight an issue, while DLH didnt fire anything at him to make anything an issue.

    I like Mayweathers style, I know he is a master boxer and an ATG but if he out pointed Pac I would be a lil short changed, the 147 division is packed with talent and names, Mayweather Vs Margarito, Cotto and Williams are just be better wins for him and would mean more.

    Let's all stipulate that Hatton is shot.... now.
    So that we won't debate later on this till our faces turn blue.
    I would also stipulate that Pac has never beaten a prime fighter,
    not even if he beates Floyd.

    At least, everything is clear that we do away w/ endless debates.

    It was clear against Malignaggi that he isnt shot, although before that fight i thought he was.

    A lot of people underestimating Hatton's strength at 140 here - I still take Pac to win, but no way is it anything like as one-sided as the Oscar fight.

    Christ! Pac has two fights above 130. Beats a plodding Diaz and a part time boxer in Oscar and all of sudden he's a 147lb wrecking machine!!

    i think pac should give hatton his shot first and while pbf is getting fight fit.
    the winner can then fight pbf.

    ****, i just realized that hatton is the linear champ of 140. if he did beat ricky, he will become a 4-time linear champion and it would be great for pacman's legacy. that is why back then, i wanted pac to fight casamayor instead of david diaz.
