Hopkins went from 170 at weigh-in to 188 at Fight Night.

Not true. He was 181 or 182 for all of his fights at 170 or LHW if i'm not mistaken.

As for the topic, i have tried weighing myself regularly just to see how much my weight fluctuates after i eat or after i exercise or take a **** and it changes noticeably. For instance, last night when i took a ****, i lost 1.6 lbs. You can easily gain 4-5 lbs by eating a big meal with a lot of liquid.

Rehydrating is all part of the sport and has been for years. P4Pdabest... maybe you shouldn't complain about what you think is cheating in boxing whilst using AM as your avatar!

For those saying Hatton won't be much stronger.... pleeeeeeaaaasssseeee.... Hatton has bullied every single 140lbs fighter he has ever fought apart from that freak of a man Urango... Pacman wasn't big enough or strong enough to put Marquez on the back foot so how the hell is he going to be just as strong as one of the strongest 140 pounders? As anyone who has ever fought Hatton says... for his size he is freakishly strong and strength has never been a major asset of Pacs. Pac wins this fight on speed and accuracy. Please don't talk bollocks saying Pac will be just as strong because he won't and if he doesn't stick to his gameplan and this fight becomes a war and a battle of strength like Hatton will want it to be Pac will be steamrolled.

**** me! The most dangerous **** you ever did?!?

    You've never lived mate!!
I'm not saying that pole vaulting doesn't have any danger, I know it does (because I've done a tiny little bit myself) but if you know what you're doing, then the only way something bad would happen would be in in a completely freak accident.
If you were a complete novice you would have more chance of having an accident but, of course, when you are just starting you start at a very low height, so, if you did have an accident, you are very unlikely to hurt yourself.

You surely can't be worried about the pole snapping and going King Harold on your botty?

Honestly mate, ****ing sparring is more (much, much more) dangerous than vaulting!

You need to live a little. I literally should have died at least 4 times but there is nowt better than being right on the edge, embracing fear, or even, letting fear getting the better of you and then, when the event is over, looking back, remembering that fear and getting that adrenaline rush again, in a safe environment where you can control it!

I really don't want to sound like a ****ing internet hard-man, like, suggesting you are a "*****" and I'm "crazy hardcore, duuuude!!". Of course not! I'm as dull as everyone and I'm sure you have done much more dangerous things than pole vaulting....... haven't you??

Hatton is garbage His stile is to bully smaller guys he is not jr welter he is natural welter that when he fight one of his own size strugles to death. If he moves up and fight in his own size he would be a journeyman by now.

True. Couldn't that be prevented by measuring their level of hydration, if possible? I'm not calling it cheating btw because both fighters do it, but I do think it's an unwanted phenomenon.
