Why, is Betty gonna commit ritualistic suicide now that his work on earth is done?

Seriously though, it will be as quiet in here as it was in the General Forum following Calzaghe's retirement. IE: Not very.

Spot on mate. Too much bitching on here Hatton is not shot, period. Hatton V JMM would be a great fight, but hey, even the haters are right, talking about such fighs whilsy looking like Fern Britton on an acid trip aint going to get the punters in and its frankly disrespectful. Lose some weight, drop the cliches and promotional ****, and I an others will consider Hatton to be coming back. Otherwsie its just mugging off the likes of me who paid to watch the Floyd and Pac fights. Fans need to be respected, not having to stick up for their fighter on a website where he is publicly enemy number 1.

    Marquez last 4 :

Lost a decision when jumping two weights to fight Floyd
    Stopped Diaz
    Stopped Casamayor
Dropped a split decision to Pac

No evidence he's shot. He's just jumping weights to make the money fights.

Yeah I can't see Hatton bowing out on a terrible loss like that. I don't think he's shot, he's just certainly not one of the boxing "elite".

I may as well ask why I'm here, I missed the Matt - M'Baye fight, did he deserve to get the draw? I was under the impression Hatton wasn't anywhere near as good as M'Baye

True. He's got skills and we don't know how Hatton would be so he's got a shot but 140 is not his weight. Unless he's only after the $$$.

Like I said in the general forum, if DLH was weight drained at 147, why the would he torture himself to fight there again? Money? DLH does not need money, GB promotions is doing very well and even without GB promotions, even if Oscar were to sit on his ass and never work another day again in his life he would still be able to live a life of luxury with what he's got already. Whats a few million to a guy like Oscar?

Mind you, Hatton's never been good at 147, so the shitness of Hatton and the shitness of DLH at 147 would maybe balance things out. Terrible fight, makes no sense IMO. Fight Khan.

How is JMM **** at 140, the only person he fought was Floyd and any **** get's made to look ****, if you cant get up with his athletic abilities Floyd didn't hurt him once, and JMM landed a few nice punches that looked like that sort of hurt Floyd for a split second !!

JMM vs Hattons a completely different proposition, JMM would actually be able to hurt and land on Hatton Regularly !! Hes the better boxer, can put his punches together better, and has some nasty power !!

I think he'd kill Hatton these days on what we've seen on Hattons recent performances !!

Baileys what on earth are you on about "Floyd didn't hurt him once"

Floyd had him finished in round 2. He carried him for the whole fight so people wouldn't compare the weights of the pair of them and instead marvel at Floyds skill.

And he wasn't at 140 for the Floyd fight (even though he came in at 142) it was Welterweight
