Alright he didn't STOP him, he might have had him hurt but he couldn't stop him, and even after the fight Said JMM was tough !!

And if it was at 142 he didn't do too bad for people to be saying hes **** above and at 140 - he done good enough at 135 knocking Juan Diaz out and Casamayor - And i ain't even talking about him staying at 140, i think he'd beat Hatton if the fight comes off !!

There was a point in the 4th round where Floyd hurt JMM, stepped back instead of in, grinned and he knew that he could finish the Mexican at any time he wanted.

140 is not his weight man. I don't even think 135 is a great weight for him. He's done good beating guys like Casamayor and Diaz but he was in big trouble against Diaz, a limited fighter. I just think he would be too small for 140. At 135 he hasn't looked his best but he can still win cuz of his skills.

The Floyd fight was at 147 and yes, Floyd is the better fighter but you can't seriously say the weight had nothing to do with it. I suspect he would be too small at 140 too.

Marquez moved up to 135 to chase Pacquiao but he's not Pacquiao. Pacquiao was weight drained and is now just fighting closer to his natural walking weight. He looks much healthier, as opposed to blown up and fat, which is how Marquez looked against Floyd.

I agree mate, i'am a massive JMM fan but even against Diaz at 135 he looked chunky, bit rich of Hatton accusing void of always wanting to fight the little fellers:lol:

he wants to stay retired. He is mugging the fans if he fights again. The fans, being mugs, will part with the cash.

I agree with those that say Hatton should retire, he's finished! Besides he can't keep fighting and getting out of shape the way he does and expect to get back in the ring with world class fighters and win!

If he had looked after his body more in-between fights then he may still be fighting today, but his lack of dedication has let him down imo. Personally though he's already proved all he has to, he was a world class fighter with a lot of heart, but he's just not quite good enough to be considered among the p4p kings like Floyd and Manny. Those fights were a step too far for him!

He really should call it a day and carry on promoting!

I like the guy and he's a British boxing legend, but it's time to call it a day!
