Anyone who thinks this is an easy nights work for Manny is a fool, this is going to be a VERY competitive and exciting fight trust me,anyone who cannot see the Skills Hatton has is allso a fool and truly shows a total lack of boxing knowledge. There is more to Hatton than many of you realize or indeed give him credit for, sometime I think manyof you have only just begun to watch the sport during the last half an hour. This is going to be VERY VERY good fight that could go either way, that said I think Ricky will stop Manny someway past the halfway stage in a hard fought hurtfull fight.

This fight will not go the distance, I can honestly see both guys going down in the fight. I think a lot of guys are forgetting just how tough Hatton is. He will make it very hard for Pac but at the same time Pac has improved drastically but lets not base his improvement on that Oscar performance because I think Pacman will make Hatton pay even worse for his raging Bull tactics. My prediction is Pacman cuts up Hattons face and this fight gets stopped on cuts or Pacman wins a unanimous decision. Hatton aggression will play right into Pacman's hands, I cant see Hatton being able to figure out the southpaw.

mayweather is a defensive guru. but pac has improved a lot in terms of his D. he now slips and ducks under punches with good head, upperbody and lateral movement. he also blocks punches w/ his gloves and arms. his guard is always up now even when throwing punches. pac has also developed into a good counter-puncher.

hatton, on the other hand, gets hit way more than pac nowadays due to his still below average D. with a light puncher like malignaggi, he can get away with it. but w/ a quick, hard and accurate puncher like pac, that will certainly be his downfall.

I agree that there is no forgone conclusion in this fight, but I'm not ready to dismiss the Pacman based on strength. He has carried his weight up well and I'm callin' this fight pick em'.

like i said before, pac fighting a dangerous opponent is just a normal day at the office for a warrior like him.

I've watched hatton's previous fights and all i can say is that he loves eating left punches! doesn't matter if it's a hook, straight or a jab he gets hit no matter what!

JMM is 10x more dangerous fight for pac and he has fought him twice already.

Actually Pac has the reach advantage and some.... Hatton advantage isn't body mass but his waist... If you don't believe go look to both tale of the tapes of their recent bouts.

This is the part where Pacquiao will go head hunting more and upper body only... attacking his stomach is useless.

Manny will be thoroughly outclassed, outboxed, outbrawled, and basically destroyed by the Hitman...

good assessment. but you got it backwards. :hey it is pac who will methodically outbox and dismantle hatton for a late round stoppage or a clear UD. how can hatton even possibly outclass and outbox pac? :-(

Then he will move to heavyweight and out-jab both Klitschko's at the same time. :good
