Hatton is a pressure fighter but have you seen anyone went toe-to-toe w/ Pac & won?!

Look people, Hatton was a fighter who relied on brute strength to outmuscle opponents on the inside. And how do you think he can accomplish that?

Of course charge in as hard as he can hope that whatever greets him on the way in is not hard enough to knock him out.

    Unfortunately it is.

    Pac by stoppage.

That was the conventonial wisdom when Hatton fought Zoo. He had to get inside to avoid Zoos right hand and he'd get KO'd on the way in, Zoo isn't a quick as Pac but he punchesa lot harder.

If Hatton was THAT easy to hit and deter from coming in then he wouldn't be 45-1 and undefeated at 140.

Unfortunately it is that simple. But it needs a hell of a fighter to do it. Zoo could've done it had he been active and injury free. Floyd showed that guys with handspeed and can bang can do damage on Hatton.

As a pressure fighter who likes to work in close, pretty much EVERY fighter Hatton has fought will have tried to time him coming in and make him pay. Hatton has very underated footwork and only one boxer has managed to imposing himself (non at 140).

If Pac thinks he's going to get the time to pot shot his way to an TKO with nothing coming back at him like he did with Diaz and Oscar than he's in for a rude awakening.

I'm aware of that. But I also maintain that aside from Tszyu and Castillo, who is already past it, Ricky has not beaten any elite fighter who is also stylistically similar to Pac. The point is, Hatton's defense is not his strongest suit. And he bleeds too. That is a fatal liability against a guy of Pac's caliber regardless of how dominant he is at 140.

Hattons defense is not was bad as some people like to think, he doesn't come forward in straight lines. You're right about Hatton not having faced Pacs style but if you turn it around theres just as many questions hanging over Pacs head. Can he take sustained pressure from a top 140 fighter? Can he put a dent in a 140lber? Can he take the punches from a hard punching lt welter? Can he handle Hattons formidable physical strength at 140?

The the Oscar and Diaz fighters answered none of those questions, they were basically target practice with very little coming back at Pac and he still had to hit both fighters with everything but the kitchen sink to get a stoppage.

If this comes down to a war Pacquiao will still win. The man with the quicker straighter punches usually wins.

If Pacquiao wants to box he'll win, making use of this footwork and speed to not allow Hatton to grab hold.

If it comes down to a miracle Hatton may win.

    A "miracle"? This is a 50-50 or a 60-40 fight at most.

    I don't believe so.

If I was flipping a British coin I would have Manny's head instead of the Queen and Manny's head instead of the lion creature.

On the sides I would have Hatton.

Your metaphors/ analogies are getting worse by the day, wasn't it "paper boats" yesterday? Are you auditioning for the Riddler role in the next Batman film?

    :lol::lol::lol:

It was just a demonstration of the chances I give Hatton. Don't get too mad I often throw a coin and it lands on the side. It happened only the other day when I went to play Pool and we threw a coin for the break.
