Hatton would beat the highlights out Malignaggi's hair.

You right and Hatton is ducking Margarito too, the most avoided man in the planet!
You know Cotto will duck Margarito too by fighting Mosley.

if PM had that same hidiously biased referee in the Ndou fight then hes got a chance, however, if he keeps trash talking Hatton, he'll never get him, just out of spite Hatton wont fight him

:patsch I'm not a Hatton fan at all, but how can u say he's ducking Malignaggi, when he's fighting a more dangerous fight with Mayweather. So are u saying Malignaggi is better than Mayweather? This is irresponsible thinking at best. :-(

    Dude, no.

PBF is A LOT better than PM. Hatton is fighting a way more dangerous fight for him by fighting PBF instead of PM.

    SO?

My statement still holds true. He is ducking PM because he can lose that fight. He can lose both fights. He has like a 100% more chance of beating PM than beating PBF, yes. But he choses to fight PBF because he knows PM can UD him, and if that hapenned, he would not make over 10 million fighting PBF. As a matter of fact, if he fought PM and won, it wouldnt make his fight against PBF any more atractive.

It is a smart desicion on his part. Im not putting him down for it. You guys are funny. Atacking me for saying the truth like if i was talking against Hatton, Im not.

It's just not ducking, period, when you take on a better fighter for more money. PERIOD.

Well the negative conception in boxing of the word "ducking" has all of you rateled up. He chose to fight PBF because PM is a dangerous fight that he can lose making not even half what he will make now. PBF is a more dangerous fight for him, (I think Hatton has a chance in there BTW) but with the amount of $ he will make, its a risk worth taking, unlike PM.

Stop trying to explain your reasoning regarding 'ducking', the upshot is you lost all respect by indicating Paulie would beat Hatton. That in itself is the problem.

This is one of the more amusing troll attempts on the board lately.

You see, Tu Papa, when you say that Hatton's camp made a good decision to bypass Paulie for Floyd, you imply that against some other -- presumably easier -- opponent, Hatton's people actually would have turned down a fight against Mayweather to take on that guy first.

That is a patently ludicrous suggestion.

By the same logic, Kessler is ducking Sakio Bika to fight Calzaghe, and Pavlik is ducking Sergio Mora to fight Taylor. How these matchups compare is immaterial. The point is that Calzaghe, Taylor and Mayweather are the destination opponents for their division, in terms of legacy and (far more importantly) money, and fighting them trumps all else.

You can't seriously believe what you've posted. I hope.

You are right. That is what I think. If there was another big money fight for him, which he would be sure of winning, he would take it instead of fighting PBF.

You realize that such a move would defy precedent, logic and all of that, right? Hatton's people would need a sanity check to turn down the fight against Floyd. Rejecting the bigger money and bigger fame fight for a lesser light is the epitome of ducking. Taking the fight now for Hatton is the obvious, correct thing to do, at least in terms of payday and legacy.

What you assert is extremely bold -- you might say, ludicrous -- and you'll pardon me if I don't find your "Trust me" to be very compelling evidence that it's actually the case.

Hmmm. Well said. Good points, unlike some other kids in here that cant discuss anything without the "You are dumb, end of argument"
