Hatton is in Australia - his comments

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by suicide booth, Dec 10, 2009.

  1. Says he finally watched that fight against PAC and has gotten over the pain.

Says win against KT is his most cherished moment.

Says he is going to fight again - somebody from the Golden Boy club. Especially thinking of DLH or Marquez.

Cheering for PAC in the upcoming fight cause he is a "gentlement" but has a feeling Floyd has the style beat him.

    Just reporting.

I think Hatton should come back. Considering the calibre of opponents that have beaten him I'd say he still has a lot to give to the sport. No shame in losing to Pac and Floyd.

I definitely think he is damaged goods now...The man has made mint and certainly taken his talents a long way.

I see no reason for him to come back except that British boxing is probably healthier with him around.

As of now he can look back and always say he only got beaten by two of the best ever. I think he is in a great position to be able to be one of the few fighters that can truly go out on their own terms.

  4. Well, it looks like he's coming back regardless.

Looks that way to me too, and I wish he didn't. I Hatton/DLH would be terrible for boxing. Terrible. My opinion.

Hard to tell whather he was past it or not v MP or just out of his depth.

Hatton is one of my favourite boxers though, not a technician but shows real heart.

Both guys look like **** at 147 right now. Seems like a fight they would consider for the box-office only to reach a stale-mate come negotiations.

Yeah and I'm not sure about Marquez at 140 either. Marquez shouldn't fight above LW IMO unless he's after a big payday againt Hatton. Marquez got skills but he's too small. Even Juan Diaz a limited fighter had him in big trouble. He still has a chance but I think he needs to stay at a lower weight.

Why is Hatton thinking of DLH? If DLH was weight drained at 147, surely he's not going to fight at that weight again. It's not like he needs the money. Terrible fight but I can see it happening at Wembley stadium. Then the winner will probably call out the winner of Pac/Floyd:patsch

Considering some of DLH's judgement calls in the past few years...I can completely see him trying it again at 147 for a safer name who brings some good money and it fills me with dread for the sport. Does nothing for either man at this point really. Except the money.

"that no moon, Thats ricky Hatton" Ricky is huge now saw him on TV and he has turned into a mini Jabba the Hutt. If he comes back then he has to come back 110%. And he has to know that he cant beat the Elite level competion.

I would like to see a remtach with Urango. Urango has always said that he felt he could have won that night.
