guy is a *****..but really..he was really slow in their..hatton use to have pretty quick feet and half decently quick hands..both were pretty damn slow even at the start....every once and while he would let out a smouth combo that looked a bit faster....but still. training more would have helped muscle memory some..but all in all....i doubt taking two easy fights would have helped much...and that would have just bent he would be fighting this guy (or someone like him) in a year when he would be even older. but yeah, thread starter is a dick and a wind up.
So geniuses..tell me the name of any other high profile fighter that a. Had a worse comeback fight than that b. cried in the ring after an interview (not just after losing a comeback but I mean cried during the interview ever) c. gave the reasons for coming back as being depressed and wanting to fight his demons Its annoying because it just drags boxing to new lows
a. Ali vs Holmes b. Chris Arreola c. The sad reality is, that's the reason a lot of fighters come back.
No...most guys are straight up and ackowledge they need the money...that or they GENUINELY feel they can win again...Hatton was never even in it...i made that exact analysis last night before the fight and was 100% correct..anyone could see that....he had no beleif in himself and that he could really win...he was just attention seeking
Hatton is a drama queen, like a number of Brit fighters-it must be in their DNA.However, full marks to Hatton on taking on a world ranked fighter in his first(and only) comeback fight. He got what was expected,a beatdown.
Hatton is so tragic a character they may very well make a movie about his life down the road. Hope he gets better and this all has a happy ending for him and his family some day.
