    Just seen it on sky sports news so no link but aparently Hatton has declared retirement.

    good move if true, he would never get back down to 140 effectively and his legs and chin have betrayed him. Take the money, the sexy bird and spend time with your kid. He can make plenty promoting in the UK and **** like that

    He had an excellent career if he does decide to retire and is probably a HOF.

    In the recent pictures I saw of him he looked more out of shape then ever. It was only a matter of time before that lifestyle caught up with him in the ring. He should hang em up and enjoy the money he has made and having his health.

    Yea he was an amazing fighter who only lost to two of the best and lets face it who dont lose top them two??

    i don't think he has much choice really. he wants to carry on fighting the best, and his body just can't do it anymore at that level in my opinion. his other trainer has now left him, so he's ****ed really. hatton has achieved a lot more than expected, and has had a great career.
