Mate thats exactly what i thought i already had hotel rooms booked for every weekend in may/june so i could see what could possibly be his last fight. But it just came up on a british sports channel hes announced his retirement. I think the news is so fresh is aint been written up anywhere yet. Hope its bull****.

Yea so do I. Personally i feel the hitman has something left. Hoped he'd redeem himself. Be a shame for people remembering him flat on his back

he should have fought khan to either battle test him or to pass the torch..whatever..

if he retires he can sit back in accomplishment.

Yeah I mean you got to feel bad for him. He had a fairly amazing career and then he's knocked out by Pac arguably the best fighter of this generation and suddenly that all is lost. I mean he lost to the two best fighters of his generation one of them, Pac, in arguably his best weight classes in terms of performance and suddenly he is thought of as a no talent bum with no chin. I'd like him to take at least one or two more fights if he could so he gets the kind of remembrance he deserves.

Im a massive Hatton fan, he got me back in love with boxing.... but if this is true its the best decision, only lost to the p4p elite, no shame in that.

    Thanks for the memories Ricky!

Fair Play to him if he has !!!!!!

He was just lingering around like a bad smell..... Nobody wanted him to fight again....

Sounds like he wasn't up to taking off the weight or committed enough to have to do 4 months of training. From the articles posted that it I read doesn't look 100% confirmed just reports.

i thought he had more left. A 2 round KO shouldn't be any fighters last fight, especially if they won their last couple and it's against the best.
