Hatton is soooooo modest!

People hate to hear the truth. I actually don't dislike Hatton as a fighter but I do know that he is overrated and very beatable and basically his goose is cooked against PBF.

He is from one of the rougher estates in Salford, then started out working in the old Champs Camp in Moss Side.

I was never a fan of Bernard Manning and in my opinion he was a racist. I am pretty sure that Hattons affection for Manning was born out of Mannings love of Man City which Ricky obvioulsy shares. That doesn't make Hatton a racist in my book and people who are trying to say it does are doing it purely for **** stirring purposes. Ron Atkinson I would say is a racist as he was caught on camera making racist remarks, not on at all. Did anyone see the Atkinso documentary when he was sent to the states to pay for his sins, he travelled round the states trying to squirm his way out of what he said. He has got his just deserts imo, out of interest though and I am being serious here, why is it acceptable for a black man to call another black man a n****r yet if anyone of the non black variety says it it is out and out racism? Before I get jumped on it is not a word I use and I am in no way a racist.


As for the title of the thread, I feel that Ricky is overselling the 'normal lad' story but it is Tv that is demanding it. You can almost see the boredom in his face as he is asked the same question for the millionth time and has to trot out the same answer. However, I also believe that Floyd is nowhere near as arrogant as he acts sometimes and this is also an act all to seel tickets and guess what.... it is working for them both.
Like most UK boxing fans my heart says Ricky but my head says Floyd, nobody underestimates Floyd as someone has said further up. Anyone who knows a thing about boxing knows who is favourite for this fight but you cannot rule Ricky out under any circumstances, bring it on I can't wait !

 

So bloody what? We are talking about boxing ability and fighting skills of both men. I don't care whether they donate to charity or are scum bags in private etc. The better fighting man will win period and we all know who that is.
