    as a "Fighter" i think

Stepping up to the plate and always Facing The Best,

    should leave the greater legacy.

Ricky Hatton > Joe Calzaghe as a greater fighter

Yes I given Hatton much more respect because he sought and fought the best out there unlike cherry picker Calzaghe.

    no.

Calzaghe came to America and fought Hopkins when he was at or near his best (Pavlik fight proves it) and was on the good end of the decision in a very close fight that the majority of the boxing world didn't argue with. he's a natural born winner, don't hate it makes you look pathetic.

Hopkins was not at his best when he beat Pavlik and Calzaghe didn't really beat Hopkins, so it's BS talk c oming from you.

What do you think the likes of Spinks or even a Prime jones would have done to Calzaghe?

Hatton had two fights against top p4p (at the time...and shut up about however Kostya was ranked by boxrec or Ring mag at the time...he was no longer a top p4p fighter at the time) talent. He got brutalized both times.

Calzaghe, you can argue, had zero fights against top p4p (at the time) talent.

I fail to see how Ricky can be said to be ahead in terms of "Facing The Best". The best you can call it is a wash/NC.

Nope, I think Calzaghe is a very good fighter. But I know what I saw and proved he could hang with Hopkins but he didn't prove he's good enough to beat him and thAT'S THE HONEST TO GOD TRUTH WHAT i SAW.
