Before any of you jump on me this is all purely speculative.

First off, I don't think this fight would do much for either fighter. For Hatton, if he wins he's laid to rest a hype job. If Khan wins then he's beaten up a has-been fighter years out of shape. Hatton doesn't have much to lose and would gain very little in terms of his legacy. Khan's career is hanging on by a thread and a loss to Ricky would surely destory it completely, but a win doesn't really do anything to get him into the current elite.

However, I can't think of many other fights that would sell better in Britain than this. Both Hatton and Khan are well loved fighters in their home nation and the PPV numbers on this would make an absolute bomb. I wonder if all parties are considering this based on financial gain rather than the quality of the fight?

Hatton might love one last huge payday before sailing into the sunset, and maybe Golden boy are comsidering how to milk as much money as possible from Khan who's got a shakey future.

Khan I don't care too much for but I would not begrudge Hatton earning a few million before finally retiring for good.

Hatton would KO Khan by round 2, Khan doesn't have the power to keep Ricky off him, even though hypothetical why not, Hatton seeking redemption, and Khan is a fringe contender at this point

Depends on how much Ricky has lost in the last few years.

Khan isn't overly well loved over here. It's not racist as some people claim, we just prefer not to suffer egotistical twats.

I don't like Khan but there is an element of racism in the hate he gets from some others. You would have to be blind not to see that.

Place has got a bad rap based off of a TV show. Sad thing is it's basically on point!

Being honest... Who would be doing who a favor by taking this fight?
All my English fight fans tell the truth.

    Just take the fight..

I'd favor khan, but Ricky would get the judges score..

Both could make a lot of money
